Abstract:

The need to drive multiple displays, be it for digital signage, a corporate conference room, or even an immersive VR room, is becoming more common. We'll provide an overview of the display management tools and APIs that are part of NVIDIA's DesignWorks SDK. You'll learn about NVIDIA MOSAIC; display setup and management using NVAPI + NVWMI; synchronization methods; and warp and blend APIs.

Abstract:

We'll describe how to scale up from one to many displays for high-end visualization. You'll learn about NVIDIA's Warp and Blend APIs on Windows and Linux that allows you to create a truly seamless logical display comprised of many individual display outputs. With this capability, you can project graphics onto curved surfaces and implement the correct transformation entirely on the GPU without any external hardware to get the correct display transformations.

We'll describe how to scale up from one to many displays for high-end visualization. This session is aimed at developers who want to utilize NVIDIA's Warp + Intensity APIs. We will demonstrate how to use NVIDIA's Warp API to create arbitrary screen layouts, mixing landscape and portrait displays with MOSAIC. Using these simple constructs, it is possible to create complex architectural display layouts. NVIDIA's Warp + Intensity API's can be utilized for a variety of different functions, including: (1) Projector Warping and Edge-Blending; (2) Projection Mapping; (3) Architectural Displays and; (4) Watermark and Image Overlays.
